In 2005, the Centre Régional de l’image en Lorraine organized the annual meetings of the association in Nancy. It was from the 3rd to the 6th of November. The theme was ‘Amateurs on television’.
Alexandra Gervin, documentalist and researcher at the ITW in London, brought up the details of work which was conducted since 1999. Her society produced an historical documentary series ‘In colour’. It was fully created from amateur and professional films shot in colour. The members also listened to several experiments feedbacks (from ‘Trafic Image’, ‘Smalfilmmuseum’…), projects that were leaded by university students. Gaël Naizet presented documentary database ‘DIAZ’, freshly developed by the multimedia library of Brittany. The association also welcomed the filmmaker Laurent Roth who presented his film J’ai quitté l’Aquitaine (2004). Finally, the public was able to debate and discuss with the delegates a presentation of amateur films on the theme ‘Amateurs filming the colonies’.
