In 2010, the Cinémathèque de Corse – Casa di Lume held the annual meeting of the association in Porto-Vecchio. This ran from the 4th to the 6th of November.The topic was “The Mediterranean sea under the gaze of amateur filmmakers”
On this occasion of the association’s 20th anniversary, a group of people within made it possible to get back to its activities and its history with Alain Esmery, Roger Odin and André Huet. A full day was dedicated to the new modern technology which included digital storage and telecine tests, this was presented by Laurent Trancy (Archives audiovisuelles de Monaco) and projects for an online consultation portal for amateur film collections. Julie Guillaumot presented the website published by Centre Images (region Centre – France) for giving access to their collections : http://memoire.ciclic.fr. Matthieu Fussien presented the work of the Pôle Image Haute Normandy about a website in partnership with East Anglian Archive. Finally, Didier Rey, senior lecturer at University of Corsica, presented a conference about representations of the mediterranean world through amateur films. This was followed by a public screening on the same theme, with documents from members’ collections.
