In 2012, the Pôle Image Haute-Normandie organised the annual meeting of the association in Rouen. It took place from the 25th to the 27th of October 2012.The theme this year was on “The amateur film : broadcasting and transmission of an audiovisual heritage”.
The meeting started with the official launch of the website “Archives en ligne”, edited by the Pôle Image and East Anglian Film Archive as a part of Interreg, an european project. Two experiences of documentary production from an amateur film gathering were also showed to the participants : Marie-Catherine Delacroix and Laurence Bazin’s movie “Ils ont filmé les grands ensembles” and “Bon Voyage !”, that produced by East Anglian Film Archive. The members also exchanged ideas on several educational projects conceived from amateur images, and spoke about the topic of european projects. Two evenings took place, with participants Rouen’s public : the cinema screening of Jean-Marie Chatelier’s “Madame H” was accompanied with live music, and program of amateur films, restored from members’ collections. For this occasion, the Archives Françaises du film du CNC presented few films from the Greffulhe family’s fund, shot in 35mm around the 1900’s.
